Elaine Thoman

Elaine Thoman is the Director of Choirs at Bergenfield High School where she has over 200 students involved with her choral program. Elaine received her undergraduate degree in Music Education, with a Voice Primary, from Montclair State University in 2015. Her choirs have performed at Carnegie Hall and Montclair State University’s Invitational High School Choral Festival. Her stage credits at MSU include Zita (Gianni Schicchi), Prince Orlofsky (Die Fledermaus), and has performed as a featured soloist in London with MSU’s premiere choir, Vocal Accord. Elaine has served as musical director for the Waldwick Public School District’s production of Dear Edwina, the Nutley Parks and Rec Department’s production of Shrek, and most recently at her alma mater, the Ridgewood High School New Players Company’s production of Big Fish.
