Jon Cole

JON COLE (Ludwig van Beethoven) has performed on our stage in Sweet Bird of Youth (Tom Finley, Jr.), Whose Life is it Anyway? (Ken Harrison), Glengarry Glen Ross (John Williamson), Amadeus (Mozart), and twice in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, first as R. P. McMurphy and then 25 years later as Chief Bromden. His acting on other stages includes Of Mice and Men, Endgame, The Elephant Man, The Real Inspector Hound, and he directed a production of The Skin of Our Teeth. Jon has been on our stage since he was less than a year old, when he sat in diapers watching his mother, Joan, a Life Member, rehearse. She and his late father, Phil, also a Life Member, were very active here for decades. Jon’s first official BCP stage appearance was in Peter Pan, when at around age 5, he was so scared, he choked and dropped his only line. Jon is a Trustee and Technical Director of The Thomas Edison Black Maria Film Festival, an international, juried festival of short films.
