BCP is continuing our popular virtual classes in theater for students of all ages. Spend the month of May with us (well, at least online) and have a great time with Improvisation, Creating Drama, Character Development,and Video Editing. Each Zoom class runs four weeks
Improv and Acting  AGES 5-8
Mondays 5/3 – 5/24   4:155:15pm 
Instructor – Sarah Feinmark
This class focuses on building skills of confidence, communication, self-expression,
language, listening, sharing and teamwork. Students are welcomed into the magical
world of theatre and learn that drama class is a place where they can make new friends
while learning how to sing, dance, and act. Classes will include theatre games, the basics
of improvisation, and simple stagecraft, culminating with a short presentation.
This is a continuation of our April course. New students are welcome.
Creating Drama AGES 9-12 (Max. 10 students)
Wednesdays 5/5 – 5/26  4–5pm  
Instructor – Staci Beth Block
Let’s “CREATE some DRAMA” as we focus on the basics of improvisation:
listening, agreement, workingas a team and “thinking out of the box.” We will play
super fun games and do activities that will help you engage your creativity.
This is a continuation of our April course. New students are welcome.
(NOTE: The 5/12 class will be held at 6pm)  
Video Editing  ADULTS & TEENS (Max. 10 students) - SOLD OUT!
Wednesdays  5/5  - 5/26  7-8pm  
Instructor – Alan Zenreich
So, you’ve recorded some video… now what do you do with it? This series will teach
you the basics of video editing so you can present your finished video.You will download
a free video editing program and learn how to combining video clips, trim unwanted
sections, make titles, adjust sound, add transitions, effects, picture in picture (PiP) and more.
Developing a Character ADULTS 18+  (Max. 10 students) - SOLD OUT! 
Thursdays 5/6 – 5/27  7:30–9pm 
Instructor – Alan Demovsky 
We will concentrate on human nature and its various components. First
looking at physical characteristicsand then studying emotional behaviors.
We will look at the many aspects of a person bywriting* a backstory,* a formal
biography which will be instrumental in revealing a full 3 dimensional person.

About Our Instructors
STACI BETH BLOCK, a Life Member of the Bergen County Players has been working with youth her entire professional career. She is the coordinator of the Reflections and RISE interactive improvisational theatre programs that run out of the BC Division of Family Guidance. Her specialty is establishing space for people to feel included and connected to others, express themselves creatively, and most of all, have fun! 
ALAN DEMOVSKY has directed 25 plays, musicals and dramas in the New York/New Jersey area in as many years.   Alan also Directed original plays for the New York Chapter of the Emmy Awards at the HBO Headquarters in Manhattan   New York City Training:  American Academy of Dramatic Arts, HB Studios, Fordham University, NYC. Alan was the agent for the late Robert Osborne of TCM. Turner Classic Movies for many years. 
SARAH FEINMARK has been a teaching artist since graduating from Stella Adler School of Acting in 2011. She also holds a BA from Johns Hopkins University.  She has worked as a tour actor/director with Missoula Children’s Theatre in both its US and International programs - reaching children around the globe from K - 12. Sarah has been performing for as long as she can remember and is a proud member of the American Guild of Musical Artists. The joy and energy she brings to introducing young people to theater leaves a lasting impact.
ALAN ZENREICH is a Life Member of Bergen County Players and has photographed over 40 productions and had made video recording of many workshops and performances. He has spent years making videos for online presentation, and has been technical advisor and video editor for several of the BCP projects produced in the past year.
