Oradell, NJ, April 26, 2023 - Bergen County Players (BCP), one of America’s longest-running little theater companies, is excited to present the funny, uplifting, musical It Shoulda Been You (Music by Barbara Anselmi and Book & Lyrics by Brian Hargrove) open May 6, 2023. Under the direction of Dottie Fischer, It Shoulda Been You puts a modern spin on the traditional wedding comedy, proving that when it comes to wedding day insanity, it’s all relative. Performances will take place at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell, May 6 thru June 4 (Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm, and Sunday afternoons at 2pm). Tickets for all performances are priced at $29 and may be purchased online at www.bcplayers.org, or by leaving a message with the box office at 201-261-4200.

The charming, funny and original new musical, It Shoulda Been You invites you to a wedding day that you'll never forget, where anything that can go wrong does, and love pops up in mysterious places. The bride is Jewish. The groom is Catholic. Her mother is a force of nature. His mother is a tempest in a cocktail shaker. And, when the bride's ex-boyfriend crashes the party, the perfect wedding starts to unravel faster than you can whistle "Here Comes the Bride!"  It's up to the sister of the bride to turn a tangled mess into happily ever after in this musical comedy for anyone who ever had parents.
