🔧 Ways to Get Involved
Not sure where you’d fit in? We’ll teach you everything you need to know! Here are just a few ways you can help:
- 🎭 Perform on stage
- 🎧 Operate lights or sound
- 🎟️ Sell tickets or usher patrons
- ✂️ Help with costumes, makeup, props, or set design
- 📸 Take photos, write program bios, support publicity—and much more!
No prior experience? No problem! We’ll mentor you every step of the way.

🪄 How Membership Works
Step 1: Become an Associate Member
When you join, you’ll start as an Associate Member—giving you time to explore and find your place at BCP.
During this time, we ask that you:
- Usher at 2–3 performances per season
- Join at least 3 work sessions (set building, theater cleanup, etc.)
- Complete 1 backstage job for a Mainstage show or 2 backstage jobs for a Second Stage or Workshop production
🙋♀️ Associate Membership
Dues: $36
Once these steps are complete, you’ll be eligible to become a Full Member (pending membership vote).
Full Members are asked to:
- Continue ushering 2–3 times per season
- Pay annual dues of $36 (calendar year)
- Stay active onstage, backstage, or behind the scenes for many years to come!

First-Time Participants
Fees: $0 / $25
- Cast in a Musical: $25 libretto deposit (refunded upon return)
- Cast in a Straight Play: $0
- Crew: $0
Note:
This status is limited to one production only (not one per season).
Participation in additional productions or events requires Associate Membership.
Junior Members (17 and under)
Fees: $0 / $5
- No charge for the first production
- $5 participation fee for each additional production
- Parental supervision may be requested depending on age
