BCP'S HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY
As of March 1, 2024, the policy for a member of the general public attending a show, event or activity at the Little Firehouse Theatre, home of the Bergen County Players, is as follows:
BCP follows the guidance provided by a number of different entities, including the Centers for Disease Control, the Departments of Health for New Jersey, New York, the City of New York and the Borough of Oradell. We also generally follow the actions of fellow community theaters in the region, and the policies instituted by the professional theater industry.
Anyone who is experiencing any symptom of Covid-19 or the flu or any other respiratory viruses, including a runny nose, cough, sore throat, headache, fever, chills, shortness of breath, or any other symptoms of Covid-19 or flu should not enter the theater. Individuals recovering from respiratory viruses may not enter the theater for at least 24 hours, and until symptoms are improving overall and if a fever was present, it has been gone without use of a fever-reducing meditation.
It is entirely possible that unforeseen events or circumstances will require us to change this policy at any point in the future, which will subsequently be reflected on our website and via email to all of our patrons. Should a policy change occur, any current ticketholder to a future performance will have the opportunity to request a full refund to the tickets purchased under the previous policy. The request will be happily granted provided it is received and acknowledged by BCP at least 24 hours prior to the start time of the ticketed performance, so we suggest that you check back on the status of this policy on a frequent basis.
